The Playground Theatre have recently resigned their contract with Coffee Solutions and have in the Café Bar an Iberital Intenz 2 Group and Macap M5D Grinder. The main advantage of this automatic machine is that the water dispense for the coffee is portion controlled for single or double coffees and for espressos and cappuccino/lattes/americanos. This means that for the coffee, you simply press the button on the front of the machine and the coffee will be consistently dispensed while you are free to do other things (e.g. taking the money).

Alongside the machine, The Playground Theatre have an on-Demand Grinder. The On-Demand Grinders enable accurate dosage, are fast and produce less waste of ground coffee than you get with some grinders and grind fresh beans every time. Combined with a Traditional machine, these will meet all your expectations.

Operating an Espresso Machine that uses pressurised steam and is older than 14 months from the date of the new supply, can prove to be a risk that you may not want to accept. You have a statutory obligation to meet the stringent legal requirement of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. We recommend to all our customers that Coffee Machines that are plumbed in should be set up with a Brita Purity C Filter. The Brita filters will help to prevent unwanted taste and odours within the water and keep scale-related problems to a minimum. We can monitor your Brita Filters and change them when required, giving you a ‘scale-related guarantee’ and peace of mind.
