Kingsland Lexden is an independent church on the London Road, Colchester, upstairs from Aldi supermarket, where they have their own allocated parking for the centre. Welcoming everyone and all ages, backgrounds and faiths, this is a warm and friendly place of worship. The church started in 1884 by local Quakers who built the original hall, establishing a place to worship, an adult school on Sundays and a people’s bank. In 1971, the property became the Lexden Evangelical Church and then went on to become Kingsland Church – now able to facilitate a 400 seated worship area, large hall, nine meeting rooms, office accommodation and a large Café area for the church and local community to use. The Café has become a valued local resource and a workshop social area.
Kingsland Church already has a Jura Giga X7 Coffee machine and wanted to be able to provide more choice in a shorter time. A member of our sales team made a visit to site and went through various machine options. The staff decided that a refurbished Jura Giga X9 with Steam Wand and a Universal Fridge would suit their current requirements. The Jura Giga X9 plumbed machine, with the power of 3 thermoblocks and 3 pumps, can dispense 2 Coffee specialities at the very same time, all through a simple touch of a button! Including favourites such as Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Caffe Latte and many more! The professional barista steam wand froths milk to perfection in a matter of seconds and with the built-in sensor the milk temperature is monitored and an automatic switch-off is triggered. Variable brewing unit – Active Bean monitoring – Height-adjustment – Rotary Switch for additional drinks selections and lots more, a versatile machine.
We recommend to all our customers that Coffee Machines that are plumbed in should be set up with a Brita Purity C Filter. The Brita filters will help to prevent unwanted taste and odours within the water and keep scale related problems to a minimum. We can monitor your Brita Filters and change it when required, giving you a ‘scale related guarantee’ and peace of mind. Kingsland Church have opted to have a C1100 filter which will be used on both the Jura Gigi machines and changed when recommended.
Kingsland Church were already using our Caffe Espresso Beans, so we were able to set up the new machine the same and along with cleaning and descaling products we can ensure that both coffee machines perform at the highest level. Our Jura Giga machines require Cleaning Tablets, Descaling Tablets and Cappuccino Cleaner. All our Refurbished coffee machines come with a 6 months warranty, (unless otherwise stated) any machine that has been refurbished will have been through our workshop. The machines are stripped down to the basics and any parts required will be replaced and any exterior work will be restored to the highest level.
