The Compasses Inn is a charming Victorian pub, steeped in history and tradition, with a family friendly welcome in the hamlet of Littley Green within the Essex Countryside. The pub offers a varied menu and locally brewed Ale. Being members of the sixth generation of the Ridley brewing family, they pride themselves on the quality of their real ale. There are always two classic Essex bitters available – usually Bishop Nick Ridley’s Rite and Crouch Vale Essex Boys Best – a dark ale, a golden ale and one other guest ale. See the blackboard below for our latest offerings. The local countryside is perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding. For all those winter walkers there is a welcoming open log fire and a good pint of real ale to help you on your way. Their food is sourced from the local butcher, fishmonger and greengrocer and if you feel really hunger, try the Huffers with a range of mouth-watering fillings. Also available are boutique style rooms offering a comfortable night’s stay including a cooked breakfast and within easy reach of Stansted Airport.
The Compasses Inn have recently had installed a fully refurbished Jura Giga X7 offers everything up to 31 individually programmable speciality coffees and another 12 barista recipes all at the touch of a button! From Cappuccino to Caffe Latte – American to Espresso, this machine fits the bill, as well as offering simple operation, it takes minimum effort to refill thanks to the large bean container with a holding capacity of 1 kg and aroma preservation cover. The integrated rinsing and cleaning operations can be carried out at the touch of a button, so the daily clean and maintenance is now easier than ever!
The Compasses Inn have been a long-standing customer for many years and are using our Caffe Espresso Beans and Decaf Espresso Ground Coffee. All our ingredients are compatible with the machines we supply, and our trained engineers will have set the machines up according to the desired products ensuring Simply, great coffee every time. We also provide all the cleaning products and advise or train our customers how and when to use them.
All our Refurbished coffee machines come with a 6 months warranty, (unless otherwise stated) any machine that has been refurbished will have been through our workshop. The machines are stripped down to the basics and any parts required will be replaced and any exterior work will be restored to the highest level. All our refurbished machines become available after upgrading customers to new machines or end of lease machines, so we recycle the old ones and offer them as refurbished.
