The Club takes its name from the Gog Magog Hills which run alongside the course. The legend goes it was named after a giant whose lair was in Wandlebury Ring, abutting the 6th green and 7th tee and it occurs in the Bible. The name Gog and Magog can be traced back to 1666 – the Great Fire of London. The course is stacked with history. Built on free draining chalk down land and situated just 3 miles south east of the historic centre of Cambridge, the Gog Magog Golf Club has two stunning and very different courses to you to enjoy.

Gog Magog Golf Club have been transforming their beverage systems and back in March we supplied them with a fully refurbished San Remo Capri 2 Group Package including an On-Demand Grinder and Automatic Coffee Press for the kitchen/bar area. This allowed them to offer all the speciality coffees made personally and with care. On Demand Grinders enable accurate dosage, are fast and produce less waste of ground coffee you get with some grinders and grinds fresh beans every time. Sat alongside a Traditional machine these will meet all your expectations. The Automatic Coffee Press allows for accurate tamping of the coffee every time.

For the Halfway House, we installed a fully refurbished Bravilor Esprecious Bean to Cup Machine for them to offer beverages up on the golf course. The Bravilor Esprecious Bean to Cup Machine offers a range of speciality drinks from Caffe Latte to Mocha. This machine can vend two size drinks or two drinks at a time, making it very versatile. The front screen can be personalised to have you own images, logo or message on the screensaver, background, and drinks icons. If welcoming your customers is important, then make it work for you!

All Traditional coffee machines, older than 14 months from date of new supply, require an annual pressure test to comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. Failure to do so may invalidate insurance claims but can put your customers and staff at risk! Any refurbished machine leaving our workshop, has been given a Pressure Test and a Certificate issued. We are able carry out pressure tests on all Traditional coffee machines so please get in touch today to arrange an engineer.

To help protect the machine from scale and impurities within the water supply, we fitted a C500 Brita Water Filter to the traditional machine a a C150 to the Bravilor Esprecious Machine. This will be changed depending on throughput or on a yearly basis. If monitored by Simply, great coffee, we will give you a scale related guarantee, giving the customer ‘peace of mind’.

Gog Magog have been using our ingredients for many years. They are using our Caffe Espresso Beans, Simply Dutch Chocolate and 100% Skimmed Milk. All our ingredients are compatible with the machines we supply, and our trained engineers will have set the machines up according to the desired products ensuring Simply, great coffee every time. We also provide all the cleaning products and advise or train our customers how and when to use them.

All our Refurbished coffee machines come with a 6 months warranty, (unless otherwise stated) any machine that has been refurbished will have been through our workshop. The machines are stripped down to the basics and any parts required will be replaced and any exterior work will be restored to the highest level.

All our refurbished machines become available after upgrading customers to new machines or end of lease machines, so we recycle the old ones and offer them as refurbished.
